It had been reported that her last day as a member of AKB48 would be on December 17, 2012 which was just a week before Christmas Eve. Masuda had announced that she was leaving AKB48 on November 28, 2012. Yuka’s decision to leave the group is due to the embarrassment that she has caused by the fact that she spent the night at DA Pump member ISSA’s house. ISSA had also broken off his engagement to supermodel Sachiko Fukamoto at the time and he strongly denies that he had any relationship with Masuda. This denial comes despite the fact that Masuda was involved in a sexual affair with him. Masuda says that most of the things that are in the report are not true but that she did spend the night at his place. She took the time to once again apologize to her fans about this. Her last day was on the same day that there was the Kohaku Taikou Uta Gassen. This is a sort of competition where the AKB48 members will be put into two teams and they will challenge each other in a singing contest.
In one of her first actions since leaving AKB48, Japanese singer Yuka Masuda announced via Twitter that she will have her own program starting in April 2013. Masuda did say that she attended the first shooting session for the program. Yuka Masuda got involved in some controversy that caused her to resign from AKB48. There was a report that came out in November 2012 that alleges that she spent the night at Da Pump member ISSA’s place of residence. Masuda returned to the entertainment industry in the summer of 2014. She took part in DIVA’s last single called Discovery. The group disbanded in October 2014. AKB48 idol Yuka Masuda showed her incredible abs while posing in a bikini for the 132nd issue of Weekly Playboy Magazine! Joining her in that photo shoot were Sayaka Akimoto, Ayaka Umeda, and Sae Miyzawa.
Masuda also starred in the musical called Wiz in September 2012. Masuda has also done work as a bikini and lingerie model. It was in 2011 that Masuda appeared in Weekly Playboy Magazine with Sae Miyzawa (SNH48), Ayaka Umeda (now with idol group NMB48), and Sayaka Akimoto. These women were dressed in very sexy lingerie for that photo session which is amazing!
Masuda is a Japanese swimsuit model as well, meaning that she does modeling work for magazines. The term Asian bikini model can also be used here. This work is another big responsibility for these Japanese idols who are supposed to present an image of being very cute. One example of this is when AKB48 member Aki Takajo appeared as a gravure idol with Asuka Kuramochi and Yuki Kashiwagi. Takajo used to be a member of Jakarta based music group JKT48. Her best friend in that group was the very cute Haruka Nakagawa.
Masuda also starred in the AKB48 documentary called Documentary of AKB48: Show Must Go On. The documentary shows AKB48 up close and talks about the problems that they face as idols. The documentary also stars many of the older AKB48 members including Tomomi Itano, Mariko Shinoda, and Sayaka Akimoto. It was because of the creative vision of producer Yasushi Akimoto that AKB48 was created in 2005. His goal was to create a musical group that could be accessible to fans. He wanted to create a group with the theme of “idols you can meet.” Since the creation of AKB48, there have been several other musical groups that have been started. The newest of these groups is the Niigata based girl group NGT48. Other notable idol groups are JKT48, HKT48, SKE48, and NMB48. In addition to her work as an actress, Masuda has done modeling for magazines such as Young Jump, Young Champion, Entame, FLASH, and the famous Weekly Playboy Magazine. She is from the same area in Japan that gave birth to Sayaka Yamamoto! Yamamoto is one of my favorite Japanese idols along with Aki Takajo. But Yuka Masuda is one pretty gorgeous gravure idol as well!
