Satoyama e Ikou is a very special event that takes place to recognize the importance of the biological productivity and the ecosystem.
Niigaki Risa (Risa Niigaki), the cute pop singer that so many people admire has been very busy since her graduation from Morning Musume. On March 2, 2013, she was in attendance at an event called Forest for Rest: Satoyama e Ikou. It was about when the Satoumi Movement was started. Former member Miki Fujimoto (Shoji) was also in attendance at Satoyama e Ikou. It is really such an honor to see the cute Niigaki and the gorgeous Fujimoto there at the same event! This coastal zone is a place where people have come together to shape the biological productivity of the area in a positive way. The event also helped to re-introduce and recognize the importance of what is known as the Satoyama Values. This is known as a vital middle ground between the city and rural life where people in Japan are put in touch with the nature. It gives them a chance to recognize the importance of this ecosystem. I was not really a nature lover until I visited Japan back in 2005. You can really see how beautiful the nature is and by putting yourself in touch with nature, you will feel better about yourself and create more positive surroundings which will lead to more positive circumstances in your life. Niigaki began her career with Morning Musume back in 2001 as a member of the group’s 5th generation. She announced her departure from the group on May 18, 2012 and then handed leadership of Morning Musume over to Sayumi Michishige. It was in fall 2012 that Risa appeared with an interesting hairstyle. She curled her hair so that it looked like a large mass but she was still pretty nonetheless.
It was also in March 2013 that she was in attendance at Miki Fujimoto’s 10th anniversary concert. Other famous members to join Niigaki as part of the 5th generation were Asami Konno, Ai Takahashi, and Makoto Ogawa. Niigaki grew up in the city of Yokohama after she moved there at the age of six. Here Niigaki sings a beautiful song! It is called Furusato.
