Well, it is all over for one member of popular all-girl group AKB48. Now former member Mika Komori who recently announced she would be retiring from the entertainment business has now posted her last blog post. On August 20, her contract with her agency ended as well. Komori took the time to thank her fans and even said that she appreciated the comments that they had left for her. Komori also took the time to think about her decision. She said that even though she is leaving the entertainment industry to work in the regular world as she called it, she will use whatever she has learned as an entertainer to try to overcome hardships that she may face. She also added that even though she is leaving the entertainment world, she will not forget any of her fans. She encouraged her fans to not forget her. Last month former member Mariko Shinoda who is also a fashion designer also graduated from AKB48. It was in May 2013 that Komori revealed that the candidacy system in place for determining which AKB48 members will take part in the last election made her think deeply about the future. Mika said that she has been with AKB48 for 4 years and that this is not the path that she wants to be involved with. Mika Komori addresses her fans in this video for Valentines Day!
